MADE IN GERMANY – THE COMPLETE PRIVATE RECORDINGS

Il nuovo box della MRS (Memphis Recording Service) intitolato “Made In Germany – The Complete Private Recordings” sarà disponibile dall’8 marzo 2019 e in questi giorni sono stati resi noti i dettagli sul contenuto. Il cofanetto contiene 4 cd con oltre tre ore di registrazioni private in Germania nel periodo in cui Elvis si trovava li per il servizio militare e un libro di 152 pagine. Anche se i nastri originali sono rovinati dal rumore, sibili e distorsioni, per la prima volta in assoluto, tutte le registrazioni di Elvis fatte in Germania, sono state tutte accuratamente pulite e restaurate, utilizzando la tecnologia più sofisticata.
Il libro con copertina rigida di 152 pagine contiene rare fotografie e documenti inediti accompagnati da un testo scritto da Gordon Minto, che parla di tutte le sessioni di registrazione di Elvis alla RCA (tranne quelle dei film) durante il 1957-58, prima di concentrarsi sulle registrazioni private che ha fatto in Germania.
