YOU KNOW, MY BASS MAN IS BOUND TO DIE

La Ampex ha presentato il suo nuovo doppio cd intitolato “You Know, My Bass Man Is Bound To Die” con il concerto inedito del 24 marzo 1975 dinner show.

Questo spettacolo non è mai stato pubblicato e ha una qualità del suono eccezionale nonostante si tratti di una registrazione amatoriale. 

In questo concerto Elvis rinnova un po’ la scaletta cantando brani registrati di recente come “Green Green Grass Of Home”, “Fairytale” e “And I Love You So” dal suo album ancora in uscita “Today”. Elvis scherza molto con il pubblico e con i suoi compagni della band – in particolare con J.D. Sumner: “Sono stato con JD Sumner da quando avevo 16 anni. È il bassista più anziano del mondo; no, sto scherzando, è il bassista più basso del mondo!”

La Ampex ha già annunciato che pubblicherà lo spettacolo di mezzanotte dello stesso giorno.
